I love Neighbours. It's the only soap I watch and it rewards long-term viewers
by occasionally bringing up long-forgotten plot lines just to fill a gap here
or there.

lines just to fill a gap here or there.

Sometimes they have really surreal storylines that are just done for a
laugh. Remember the plotlines from Janelle's novel which were acted out in
her imagination by people from Ramsey Street?

And then they spent a couple of episodes teasing us with the possibility of
a visit from Elle Macpherson. When it happened, it was simply an excuse to
turn a whole episode into an extended re-relling of the Tom Jones joke. LOL
