Tried UK.tech.tv.video.pvr without success

BBC, UK History Channel, 5 all A+ We do not change over for 5 years to digital. So looking for analogue DVD HD, into which we can plug our freeview tuner. Looking to record mainly analogue to HD and play DVDs came across the LG @ comet £279. Is is worth the punt? TIA |

TIA Personally I would prefer a Panasonic machine, I have the DMR-EX75 which has an analogue and a digital tuner and can aslo record from external sources. I got mine multiregion from Total Digital, now £245 plus £10 delivery. http://www.totaldigital.biz/index.ph... ucts_id=1723 |

TIA I've got a Liteon. Records to all types of DVD (+/-/RW & now DL) and a capacious HDD. Also plays DIVX avi files & MP3s I've got my Virgin Cable box plugged into it and before that Freeview. Works just splendidly IMHO. Curry's have this http://www.currys.co.uk/product.php?sku=786056 for £180. Doc |

Thank you for the suggestions. Had a look at the twin tuner
(analog/Digital) panasonic - nice machine. However shop assistant said that there was to be a freeview booster in Stansted CM24 in 2008. Is this correct. Could not find it on digitalspy. can avyone give any pointers if this is correct? If so I will hang on and get a twin digital tuner PVR next year. Thanks again RDD Dr Hfuhruhurr wrote: On 9 Aug, 10:08, rdd wrote: Tried UK.tech.tv.video.pvr without success So posting here . Thanks again RDD I'm pretty sure the shop assistant got it wrong. DSO starts in the Cumbria region in 2008, until analogue switch off there will not be any increase in digital powers. |
