Probably a waste if you watching it on a small LCD in your room. Now put it
the main room connected to a nice 42 inch Full HD LCD/Plasma and then your
talking.

Plus add the movies for only an extra six quid a month then maybe you could
'justify' the extra paid when all the family sits together to watch a great
HD movie, or even allow Dad into the living-room (LOL) to watch the footie.

The movies and the football are the best things about Sky HD.

I would be indterested to know how you arrive at 6 pounds per month extra for Sky Movies. I just
checked on www.sky.com & it is actually 16 pounds per month extra.

Sorry, made a mistake there. It is actually an extra 19 pounds per month for the movie channels.

The OP says his "Dad has the footie in the kitchen", so I assume he has the
Sport package, which, (if correct), means its only 6 quid (6.50 actually)
to add the movies.

I'm glad you posted that. I'm currently on the "Summer Movie" deal and
wasn't expecting my subscription to go up by £19 when it ends!

OK. Never having subscribed to any of the premium channels I was surprised that it would be so
little but that explains it.
