two sky+ = £20 per month??
 

Currently have one sky+, one freesat, one normal sky with multiroom.
Freesat is changing to HD on thursday so thats an extra £10 per month.
We already pay an extra £10 a month for the multiroom, (sky+ is free as we
have the multiroom).

If I change the standard sky that is left over to a sky+ would I have to pay
another £10 per month?

you to use anything up to and including another HD box. It "mirrors" the
main contract which is why it used to be called a mirror subscription. So
you will be able to use the old SKY+ box under your current £10 mirror
subscription.

No. Sky+ is included with any Sky subscription since 1st July.

Funny, I had the impression he WAS upgrading to SKY HD and knew he has to
pay £10 for HD channels? Yes he did say that! Perhaps you missed it?

He wants to know if he can use his current SKY+ box under the multiroom
subscription without any additional cost (on top of the extra £10 for the
HD). He probably didn't realise that his multiroom subscription would have
allowed him to use two SKY+ box's if had wanted.

cannot be mirrored. At least that is what I think he meant.

Its confusing. The HD is replacing a Freesat box which there is no
subscription. There is also a sky+ box and a normal box.
So I will end up with sky+, normal box and HD, will this cost me only £20 a
month extra?
If I changed the normal box to be a second sky+ box, I won't have to pay
anything extra on top??

Thanks. So just to confirm, if I purchased an additional sky+ box to
replace the standard box I will stay pay the same as I am paying now?
Sorry for the silly questions, but I find all these subs confusing and need
to get in clear in my head. I did call Sky, the guy said it WAS £10 extra,
then when I challenged it he said it wasn't. Hence the confusion.

OK. Regular subscription (minimum 15 pounds per month) + 10 pounds for each additional digibox on
multiroom plus 10 pounds for each HD box. So whatever your basic sub is plus 30 pounds per month.

Don't forget your number of LNB ouputs -

Sky = 1, Sky + = 2, Sky HD = 2

You may need to buy an Octo LNB as well !

Yeah I phoned Sky yesterday and told them I needed an Octo, so hopefully the
installer will have one on his van.
