Missing EPG for ITV2 and ITV3 and sound
 

Hi

On my Humax recorder there is no programme guide for ITV2 or ITV3. I also
have noticed that I don' t get the sound straight away when tuning to one
of the channels.

Is it something at my end or a general fault? It's a nuisance not knowing
when programmes are and having to struggle hopefully through the fine print
in the newspaper, eg no ITV3 listing in the Guardian.

The same happened to me last night. All Mux 2 (ITV/4 etc) channels disappeared
completely from my Topfield's EPG page, and both my Sony PVR, and Sony IDTV
were showing no EPG data for ITV channels.

Do a 'store all channels' or whatever the Humax equivalent is. It's
been a common problem on lots of other receivers from many other
transmission sites over the past year or so.

Something, as yet unidentified, is changing in the data being sent
that causes the EPG and now/next info to fail, a 'store all channels'
fixes it.
