Looking for LCD with RS232
Greetings all,
I am looking for recommendations for a good quality 26" - 27" LCD monitor/TV, that has an RS232 port, for external control ( computer controlled on/off ). Looking to control 6 - 10 monitors. Thanks in advance |

My 22" Aquos (3yo) has such a connector but the manual states "The RS-232C terminal is for future expansion only and cannot be used for PC control of the unit" Perhaps it's different on modern versions. -- From KT24 - in "Leafy Surrey" Using a RISC OS computer running v5.11 |

Well, the 'future expansion' has obviously happened in the last couple of years. -- From KT24 - in "Leafy Surrey" Using a RISC OS computer running v5.11 |

I'm waiting for the more modern modems. my parent's grundig idtv from a few years ago has a modem too - presumably of use in the ondigital days? as for a modern modem - what's the point exactly? -- Gareth.
