Display Mode
 

On page 60 of my JVC 32 inch lcd LT-32E478
manual it describes the Display Mode:

as follows.
Press the DISPLAY button
Detailed mode - Clock Mode - Simple Mode - Off
Detailed Mode - Shows the channel, channel name,
signal, rating information, current time, digital
antenna level and scramble information, as well as
the current time below.

HD1080i CC ((o)) ((S)) Dolby Digital [...]

These are all obvious Except the
((o)) - actually the o is a half shaded circle
and the [...] is a half shaded rectangle..

Any ideas what these two mean?
