32" LG at $699!?

They have some other names at even cheaper prices.

Not used to seriously considering Radio Shack for major purchases, but
that LG looks pretty good!

Research the model. Is it older technology that's making the sale, and
worth it in comparison to new features (see out of stock * below -
branded commercial vs domestic use)? Taxes usually offset by
shipping. RS warranty might be a plus. Check out the reviews -
Amazon's for instance has some unhappy campers with LG warranty
support. Grain of salt - same with mine, but the manufacturer treated
me fairly, overall (caveat - had me replace a motherboard before
advising of their Advanced Replacement Plan - semibear tech work I
*should not* have done).

I'm only showing it on Nextag for matching that price (though the ZIP
field oddly then cancels out those two not-well rated merchants).
Everyone else is generally higher than RS price. Looks good. Of
course, someone is always going to turn up bragging about a sale $200
less the day after whatever you pay.

Disregard link - it's a monitor w/out tuner.

The various no-names are under $600 all over town.

I wonder if the Samsungs and Sonys will now dive under $1k.

So? Sam's Club has a 32" Vizio, complete with *two* HDMI interfaces
PLUS RGB for computer input, for $550.

And BTW, this $550 Vizio includes both ATSC and NTSC tuners.

The one at RS does have ATSC and NTSC tuners. It is
apparently a discontinued model, since BB and CC
don't carry it any more. It's a very nice set.
