Hi,
I have an FVRT100 which doesn't start up any more - it hangs with
'Hold' in the display. I have replaced a faulty PSU with a 3A unit.

Is there a simple remedy?

No expert, but this page (http://www.xtendedplay.co.uk/digifusion-pvr-
upgrade-power-supply-p-45.html) recommends a 4A PSU to cure the hold
problem (which they suggest is caused by the HDD not getting enough
power). I think I would want them to offer to take it back if it
didn't fix the problem.

Maybe you should try replacing the HDD if you have something you could
swap it with.
