Vizio TV remote control - undocumented button
I have a Vizio VX32 which has an undocumented button on the remote control.
It's a small round one at the extreme top left (left of the power button) and is slightly recessed. Depressing it requires something pointed. This button is not documented in the user's manual or anywhere on Vizio's website. I even found the company that manufactures it and still haven't a clue as to what it does. I'm guessing that it might be to input something like a universal code. If anyone else has a similar model and knows what that button does, the info would be appreciated. -Nick |

Usually there's a diagram explaining what each button does, no? Does the diagram show the button, but not explain what it does? |

It is used for entering the program codes for the VCR, Cable and DVD functions (documented in the manual--this is a universal remote, probably made by URC). Possibly they use the same basic remote for several models and yours does not have the same features, so they left the key unlabeled. |

You might find extra buttons under the "Vizio" nameplate near the top of your remote. ___ Neil |

That button is unmarked on my remote and all of the other ones are assigned specific functions for the TV only (no play, ff, etc.). And there are a lot of buttons .. 47 to be exact. -Nick |
