VirtualDub filter required

I need a VirtualDub filter which locates dropped frames in an Xvid/DivX
stream and replaces them with an average of the frame before and the frame
after before re-encoding. Does such a filter exist and if so where can I
find it? If not is there some sort of scripting language that I could use to
do this manually, and re-encode the bitstream. Can AviSynth do this?

Well I've figured out a long winded way of doing this using a combination of
AviSynth and VirtualDub. First I used the VirtualDub "motion blur" filter to
create an average of the two frames I wanted and save that to a file in the
same format as the original. If VirtualDub worked properly then you could
just merge the files together and then copy and pate the relevant frame in
the correct place but not only does VirtualDub not append the processed AVI
file to the original but it will not even let you cut and paste single
frames either so I had to use AviSynth to join the two files together using
the UnalignedSplice command. After this I used the FreezeFrame command to
copy the frame I wanted from its location in one file to where I wanted it
in the other. The only problem is that this will only work with one frame at
a time so if you have more than on frame you want to fix you have to copy
the entire file using direct stream copy and repeat the entire long winded
process for the next frame, and anyway its not really worth the trouble
since you can still see the frame jerk in and out because of the blurring.

But what's that got to do with your usual agenda against RTD?

Zarbiface...to explain....Aggy is constantly looking for methods to re-edit
the new episodes so as to remove all of Gayvies's crap soap opera, poor
lines of dialogue and all references to homosexuality etc etc

I expect the resulting re-edit of Love and Monsters will consist of the
opening and closing credits only...
