I'm considering the purchase of one of these to clean up SD broadcasts
through a Time Warner SA 8300HD box.

I'm wondering if anyone's had any experience with this unit that
they'd care to share.

I'd spend the money on a newer TV which seems to handle SD broadcasts
better. I have a 2002 model Samsung HDTV which SD has always looked
like crap. A 2007 model Sanyo TV does much better with standard def.

A question of degree... If this unit lives up to even half of its
expectations, the SD picture would still be miles ahead of anything a
consumer TV would have built in.

At $700 to $900 I would hope so.

I've been using the earlier non-HDMI Flea and am very pleased with it.

You can split the screen and instantly see the difference in mosquito-noise
reduction.

Tech support is also seems very good, they called me back from Canada and we
spoke for a good half-hour.
