Haven't tried the Cynalynx, but have tried the D-Link 510 and the Mvix's
Mx760 HD players. This is an area that is new, and what works and what
doesn't work, cannot be determined from manufactures specifications. So far
I
have had to return one player for refund and currently evaluating a second
player. It seems that the term "HDTV" is a game of specifications;
i.e. HDTV is only supported up to 8Mb/s, found in the back of the manual.
The sales people on the other hand, say that is a "typo and it supports over
19.4
Mb/s". I have spent many aggravating hours trying to get this to work,
without success. Yet, HDTV is written all over box.

My only concern is playback of HDTV MPG (MPEG2 type) or TS (MPEG2 type)
video recordings. The D-Link failed to play any of my HD recording, weather
connected wired or wireless. It did play jpg's wirelessly ok; but froze
after about a dozen pictures shown in succession. It may have been a server
problem and my PC that caused the freeze. The D-Link uses Nero's MediaHome
Essentials as a server, although other third party servers will also work.

The Mx760 HD plays the HD recording but skips frames when connected either
wired or wireless. However, when using the internal hard drive, the playback
is smooth. It supports 720p, 1080i and 1080p HD via a DVI port. A simple
DVI to HDMI cable will connect to the TV's HDMI input. Haven't tried the
HDMI 1080p, my HDTV only supports 1080i HDMI although it will support 1080p
VGA (RGB). The Mx760HD is also capable of RGB video via the DVI connector,
but
I have not tested this mode yet. This player uses Microsoft's "My Network"
for connection to the Mx760HD.
