Well some people will just throw anything together, won't they?
hehehe

Man that's really nice... I have a friend with a studio and will snag his
Tektronix RTA spectrum analyzer when I get mine ready to go..
I'm waiting for a couple components.. i.e the new HD CODECS.

Aaron,

Here's mine: http://www.godslabrat.com/proto.html

Nice. What you need most is absorption on the wall behind you. That's
where the peaks and nulls are the worst. A wall close behind is also a
source of early reflections. Try hanging a large thick blanket behind
you just as a trial, and I bet you'll agree that clarity improves
quite a lot. Ideally you'd have something thick enough to absorb down
to bass frequencies, but just absorbing the highs will help.

Good tip. I don't know if you can tell, but this is in an apartment.
Right now, it's pretty important to keep my setup modular and changeable.
I'm hoping to buy a house in the next year, at which point I'll be able to
re-design the room with much more emphasis on sonic control.

Yeah, with acoustics you can have affordable, attractive, or effective -
pick any two. :-)

Most fancy looking home theaters sound terrible. (Likewise for many high-end
audio stores.) Some people do have home theaters with excellent sound, but
those are much more expensive because the bass traps and other treatment are
hidden behind false fabric walls.
