Digital output from Laptop with VGA/PCMICA
 

I am trying to play HD sample videos on my laptop and seeing them on
the HDTV using a VGA port. However, I read that VGA is analog, and its
best to get video card which has DVI port. Is there someway I can get
a digital out from my laptop. Probably using a PCMCIA card which has a
HDMI/DVI port?? Any suggestions?
