PiP Worthless?????

I have a 50 in HDTV Monitor.

I assume the only way I could use the picture in picture feature is if I had
2 individual descrambler boxes. One to feed the main and one to feed the PiP
line.

Correct?

If your only source of content is a cable box, then you are right. If you want
to watch 2 different encrypted or scrambled cable channels then you need 2
boxes. However, that may not be your only source. Other sources could
include:

- Over the air NTSC and/or ATSC tuner.

- Cable NTSC tuner for analog unscrambled cable channels.

- Cable QAM tuner for unencrypted cable digital channels.

- Other video sources such as a DVD player or VCR.

If you are only interested in HD sources, then those are the cable box output,
the over the air ATSC tuner and the QAM tuner.
