Samsung 40 inch HD LCD with intergrated Tuner
 

Hello,
I am looking to buy a Samsung 40 inch HD LCD with intergrated Tuner in
Australia.
With 5 year warranty it costs $2,700AU
Is this a good deal?
And is this a good LCD to purchase?
Anyone had any issues with Samsung?

I got a Samsung digital camera, my opinion was that it was a bit of a
cheapie.

Are there any other brands worth considering? I saw a Sony, basically
the same except the speakers were on the edge, making the screen and
extra 3 inches wider on each side. That was the main reason i like
the Samsung, it looked smaller but had the same size screen.

I've had good luck with my 46 inch LCD.
Prices here in Denver, converted to AUD are 2316 for the model 4051; 2445
for the 4092 and 3217 for the 4096.
Those quotes do not include a 5 yr warranty. Those are with standard
Samsung warranty only.

Prices here in Denver, converted to AUD are 2316 for the model 4051; 2445
for the 4092 and 3217 for the 4096.
Those quotes do not include a 5 yr warranty. Those are with standard
Samsung warranty only.


You can't really just convert currency and expect it be them same value.
I've seen the cost of products vary across Asia. A lot of it has to do with
trade tariffs and taxes. Most of our consumer electronics are made in
Mexico if not China. So that factors into price of good.

To the original poster, you might want to shop around your local area.
Prices here in the States tend to be much lower than most other countries.
Also your Tuner might be different than ours as well. Good luck!!!

You may want to check the other user groups for qualified reports regrading
Samsung products and their quality in use. Then make your selection based on
much more information.
Samsung is bring out some rather nice and inovative electronics, seeming
releasing some for "Beta Testing" by the public; IMHO.
Maybe a couple Fosters and bit more research you will come up with a viable
produce to drop your quid on. Cheers.
