none of them are ****e
stick to classic

oh sorry, you think because I don't like a certain channel I must like
classical music? On the other hand I probably do like the odd bit,
because I have diverse tastes.

No, I find a great deal of the Nu stuff noisy and talentless and
boring, and the pop stuff little more than regurgitated pap dressed up
in soft porn suits... and don't get me started on all the *******
talking mockney to music.

Different, that's what I like.

you are too easy

yes, i can see that. Now run along, I'm sure you have homework to do.

its half term
perhaps you have some to do though youngster
lol
personally i really do (unlike you) listen to anything
and am prepared to give any music a chance
i suggested the classics to you because you obviously needed to mellow
not because i thought it was your only interest
i'm very sure you arent the shallow person you are projecting here
and i'm sure you have time to try out different genres of music
perhaps you are simply just trying to get a reaction
not a problem
enjoy the music you like accept the music you dont but do damn the music you
dont like when others do
its all about freedom brother
have a good life
FWIW i'm prob older than you any way

Where does Katherine Jenkins fit in, then - a gorgeous,

classical music dressed up as soft porn? :O)

Sounds good to me! Where do I find it again?

heh heh... I thought that's what they had done with the classic
channel anyway. don't they show them lasses with their legs wrapped
round their cellos?

:O) 52 this year.

personally i really do (unlike you) listen to anything
and am prepared to give any music a chance

um, no, i really do, or should I say I really did try. I used to like
pop, in a way, I'll even confess to having a bit of a soft spot for
Dollar and Bucks Fizz! I grew up through the early rock years and got
into a bit of early dance, punk etc. It may be that ear damage has
changed my mind when it comes to much of the current 'nu' metal stuff
but it really does seem to all bleed into one when I do try listening
to it. Mind you, i also confess to being ****ed off that so much of it
hijacked MTV2 that I almost gave up on the channel altogether.

i suggested the classics to you because you obviously needed to mellow
not because i thought it was your only interest

Yes, I'll go along with you there, but the classic wouldn't get me
mellowed. Gimme some alt american stuff, semi country semi rock
probably, that'll probably do it.

i'm very sure you arent the shallow person you are projecting here

You saw through me. :O)

and i'm sure you have time to try out different genres of music
perhaps you are simply just trying to get a reaction
not a problem

I think it's the fault of SKY really. I don't listen to radio anymore
(reason too complex to go into right now) so i tend to catch my first
site of new stuff on TV and I became pickier and pickier about the
quality and quantity of stuff being pumped out. Blame continuous
commercial breaks and onscreen clutter as much as the other foibles
about it all sounding the same and looking like soft porn.

enjoy the music you like accept the music you dont but do damn the music you
dont like when others do

Ah, but here's the rub, as we should all have the right to like what
we want we should also have the right to dislike it too. It's just a
general feeling of mass production I get. Now that's again probably
more to do with new media than with reality. In the old days there
were probably just as many new bands and singers around they just
wouldn't have made it big enough to get airplay.

its all about freedom brother
have a good life

and the same to you

FWIW i'm prob older than you any way

I was trying to get a rise :O)
