Totally unrelated to digital tv: My mate's mixed grill
I've got a mate who will eat bloody anything, and a lot of it as well!
He reckoned that there was nothing I could cook that he couldn't get through. That was, until tonight. Here are pics of the mixed grill I cooked for him. Despite that the last pic looks like he did quite well, he did, in fact leave a lot more but emptied his plate first for the photo. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ixedgrill1.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ixedgrill2.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ixedgrill3.jpg He even gave me £20 for the pleasure :-) Marky P |

Looks very appetising with the possible exception of the eggs. You're not one of those people who overcooks the whites, are you? |

They were cooked in the same pan as the steak, hence the discoloring of the white. Also, it was a bugger keeping an eye on everything, but amazingly, nothing burned. Just done the washing up. Now i'm ready for bed. Marky P. |

Under New Labour nanny state, you will need a licence to cook anything that
size. Just pop down to your local 'Jamie Oliver coupon issueing centre' and fill in the paper work...... You might not get another coupon for a few weeks :-) "Marky P" wrote in message ... Days? Hours more like. He is an unbelievable pig. Apparently, his wife only feeds him salads at home. Marky P. |

**** me, how many days will he give himself for all that to digest? An old man on our street when I was a kid would regularly ejaculate "Well, **** me drunk!" As an imaginative child brought up in a teetotal household where sex was unmentionable it formed undesirable mental pictures. Bill |

Having admired mixedgrill1.jpg for the third time (what diameter is that plate? 18in?), I wonder, would it be OK for me to print off a few glossy prints and proffer them to the Turkish maitre d at a local caff to give him inspiration for a dish of the day? At the moment it is just mousaka, lamb hotpot, chicken something, mousaka, lamb hotpot, chicken somethingelse, etc. It is a good caff, but doesn't produce a breakfast that is substantial enough. Mixedgrill1 is, and should point him in the right direction with minimal explanation. It should be good fun haggling over the price, too. -- Roger Hunt |

Marky P Well I've heard that a good cook never cooks beans and peas in the same pot. ;-) |
