syncronisation
I have recently purchase a Toshiba 37" LCD TV
Apart from the speaker system not being upto standard as one would have expected, the sycronisation of the visual spoken word and the audio sound is faulty and changes depending upon the source of broadcast. I have spoken to Toshiba about this fault the reply was, "unfortunately this is a fault with the LCD technology" I found this to be a rather surprising statement. Is this a true statement? opinions from other more knowledgable sources would be most welcome |
syncronisation
It sounds like BS to me. A digital signal is nothing more than a bunch
of bits. If the microprocessor takes an extra 0.3 seconds to process the video, it should stall the audio for an equivalent amound of time. My Panasonic LCD works fine. When there is an audio/video mismatch, I know it's the fault of the transmitter. |
