Unlocking the DVD3 Command Codes for Sony RDR-GX120
 

Hi

I wonder if anyone out there can help me I've just been setting up my
new dvd recorder and got carried away with all the settings.

I've selected the command code DVD3 and now the remote that came with
the recorder won't work with it, which I didn't realise until after the
fact

I'm pulling my hair out as I can't now use this remote at all! So
can't programme or anything!

Any advice and help would be very much appreciated

Should be an option to return the machine to its factory default, be in the
manual somewhere. Then you can start again :)

Pages 16 and 69 of the manual are what you need. DVD3 appears to be the
factory default.

So should I be trying whats on page 69 left margin I thought I'd tried doing this last night but to no avail! Maybe I was too stressed! SHould I be able to perform the press System Menu in stop mode even with a remote control thats beeen set to DVD1?

If you do a factory reset it should return the machine to delivered
condition
