HDTV with commercial sound control

I saw on the specs on Sony's new Bravia that it has commercial sound control
for the LOUD commercials..Anyone have any experience with this feature on an
HDTV..?

HDTV with commercial sound control

I have a 30XS955 (CRT) model with Sony "steady sound." I find it to work Ok.
The drawback is that (in my set anyway) you cannot use the simulated surround
feature--one or the other
