Nick Sorry if a bit of a numpty question, but am assuming the download is automatic? Does receiver have to be left 'on' and tuned to any Mux 1 Channel or will 'Standby' do? -- aa |

Has to be left on any Mux 1 or Mux B channel for a couple of hours or so. Switch to standby at leisure. When you bring it back out of standby, it will boot on the new software AIUI. -- Mark Please replace invalid and invalid with gmx and net to reply. |

I then switched to 'Standby' and then back to 'On', at which point it booted on the new software. -- aa |

Peter Thanks for your reply Stone Free, I will just have to wait and see if mine does update at least I know now that the loader version is not the problem. As for your feeling of Deja vue I am afraid thats my fault. I thought I would ask the question over at digital spy aswell, strange that you should answer me on both, the big wide web not so big after all. Thanks again Halo |

As an aside, I dont have an EPG anymore - there is no data there. Is this an effect of not getting the update? Bloke. |
