How good is the Panasonic PT56WX33 ????

Seems Circuit City has this HD monitor for only $1500.00 - I went to see it
on the sales floor and the picture looked a tad grainy, but the sharpeness
could have been set too high (to be fair most of the other TV's were also
sort of grainy, except for one which didn't have the brightness cranked up
so high).
Is this TV crap, or is it a pretty good deal for $1500.00???

What you need to do is look at it after you adjust it in the store and
decide for yourself if you like the picture. Panasonic TV's are reasonable
quality.

I assume you meant WX53 not WX33? I sent mine back mainly because of some
geometry problems in both upper corners that I could just never get
right. SD content from DirecTV looked awful. And there was a problem on
mostly vertical high contrast lines where it might have a magenta or
green tint on one side or the other.

I bought a Hitachi 57S500 and it is an order of magnitude better. YMMV.
