Is sky three unwatchable ?

Not as a whole - but any new tv series they show .

Lets assume most people will watch a full series from start to finish .

What if sky three does one of those on screen kylie dogs like they did
the other week or like the one they did for battlestar a while ago .

If you refuse to watch sky three (or any other channel that does the
same) because you refuse to put up with that type of on screen ****e
then that means you will miss part of the tv series you have been
watching as a loyal viewer .

As later episodes might refer back to something that happened the
episode you opted not to watch because of the on screen ****e - then any
appeal the series had is pretty much gone .

To sum up , Sky three can **** up your enjoyment of a tv series any time
they want by doing one of those on screen kylie or battlestar dogs .

So , I'm now of the opinion that theres no point in even starting to
watch any new tv series on sky three - and - the odd one off type of
show has become the one and only thing sky three is good for .

I think when they were handing out moaning genes you must've gone round
quite a few times more than is generally considered healthy.

DOG **** tends to be habitual. Once a channel ****s DOG **** on a screen
once, generally more of the same crap follows.

Hence the reason why I don't do DOGged networks and do stick to non-defaced
media.

Most viewers, according to ITC/OFCOM/ almost any "viewer research" show the
viewing of channels isn't necessarily because of on-screen marketing crap
but rather because of what programmes are found where and out of habbit.
Most viewers stick to a narrow range of channels for the vast majority of
their viewing.

By sticking DOG **** on a channel, this is what the viewers become familliar
with, and the channels will generally find that the viewers they attract are
expecting (and indeed want) this on-screen ****.

This works both ways, for viewers also learn which channels patronise and
annoy, and will find they are repelled because of a channels habbits.

There is nothing I watch on Sky Three. Sky don't want my money. Sky want me
to watch all my quality programmes not via Sky but via other media sources.

So that just leaves you BBC to watch.
Which you won't pay for...

Yep. I found it very hard to watch Battlestar+Kylie.
You would think the promos before/after all the adverts would be enough.

As long as people continue paying Sky, they won't care and won't stop?
LEAVING "SKY THREE" on screen is bad enough alone. I LEFT Sky years ago.

Even worse was UKTV history putting INVENTING OUR WORLD stretching to
practically half way across the screen of new Fred Dibna programmes in May.
Couldn't bear to watch any of it. Considered deleting the channel to save
myself getting wound up.

My opionion is if I can't switch PERMANENT logos off, the idiots shouldn't
add them. Especially the BBC.
"Subtitles" doesn't stay on screen more than 5 seconds so why should
anything else.
If I want the picture spoilt, send out some stickers to put over the screen.
No difference if they leave a mark that can't be removed!
Alternatively make use of the EPG. Duh!

Funny how BBC four 'screen wipe' programme was dogged "BBC FOUR", and didn't
even mention DOGs. Just a damn advert for Eastenders anyway.

TV out of a window:

Say what you want about itv and it would probably be true - but at least
itv are honest and upfront about it .

Sky three on screen ****e on the other hand like the kylie and
battlestar dogs can appear whenever with no way to predict them .

- change channels to watch something
- wait a couple of minutes for the adverts to finish
- on screen ****e appears as soon as the show starts
= instantly change channels to get rid of it

Perhaps its not so much the on screen ****e - its the fact you have
wasted five minutes for nothing .

There are far better ways of building re-la-tion-ships with cust-om-ers than
****ing them off in this way. The irony is the people doing this **** call
themselves "marketing".

They let down and indeed are a perversion of what marketing used to be
about.

Yes, you will. However as time goes by you will realise that a small
piece of screen being taken up by a logo does not make any difference
to your enjoyment of a program. When that time arrives, hopefully you
will look back with wry amusement at how you used to get upset by such
small matters.

Most of the time 'normal' dogs dont bother me .

But on screen ****e like the kylie/battlestar ****e is utter ****e .
