The web TV output is either S-Video or Composite depending on what cables
are being used. Both presentations look passable on CRT based TV and LCD. I think RCA designed them with normal TV hookup in mind. I have found the crt to be poor when used as a computer monitor or for web surfing. IMHO, the LCD is much better. I have a 34" Sony HD crt set. It scans natively at 1080 interlaced. CRT computer monitors are always progressive scan. The only way for me to use PS on my Sony was to drop to 480p, which was not at all optimal. Stick with LCD. |
