Narrow frame LCD flat panel?
I have a widescreen LCD computer monitor with a very narrow black bezel.
I like the that all screen, minimal frame look Like to find a flat panel LCD [32" -40"] TV with a similar narrow dark frame. Anyone familiar with any models that are like that. I've seen some of the Samsung DLP's with almost no frame but not LCD's Thanks for any advice Terry |

I'm with you Terry. I also have an LCD pc monitor (Viewsonic VP Series) that
has a narrow bezel, just as I wanted it - no built-in speakers. Unfortunately the Viewsonic LCD HDTVs have received poor reviews. There are a few, very few HDTVs that have detachable speakers, and lacking that the best choices appear to be those with speakers across the bottom. I'd prefer if they provided separate speakers or no speakers as an option, though I cannot specify any. Perhaps someone can suggest some. Sorry to hear about the Viewsonic, they certainly were a low cost choice.

This is one of the reviews I referred to:
http://www.cnet.com.au/tvs/lcd/0,390...0059182,00.htm I saw this set at BJs and it didn't look bad at all, but I tend not to evaluate HDTVs from what is viewed in showrooms since the sources, lighting, cabling etc. cannot be determined. I certainly believe that the Viewsonic VP series monitors are superior, though pricey.
