Back to basics - Which is a good digibox?

This question is linked to a previous query, can anyone recommend a good
digibox and a good outlet in the southeast that sells them.

Cheers

Lynne

There is nothing in the Argos catalogue that I would recommend and I've
tried most of them! :-(

It is generally accepted that that off all available ordinary (i.e. non
Sky+) digiboxes the best Sky digibox is the Pace DS430N as this offers
a fast EPG and good tolerance to low power signals (so works well in
Southern Europe).

You can get one for around £100 new or cheaper than this on ebay.

Oh! Yeah! What's wrong with the latest Sony one, then? Some people are very
hard to please.

Sylvain.
