Sky News missing from Freeview
 

I'm on the Crystal Palace transmitter for Freeview, and about a week
ago Sky News (channel 82) stopped showing. I've rescanned about 5 times
over the last few days, and there's no change. anyone else had this?

Do you get the other stations on the same mux (e.g. Sky Sports News on 83,
or UKTV History on 12)?

I had a flaky signal with a crap roof mounted aerial - sky news vanished
about 2 weeks after the rigger threw it up.

It's well known that vomit de-tunes the directors.

Luckily the birds had eaten it before the (much better and cheaper) rigger
installed my 10 foot pole, although I had already fitted a 2m collinear, DAB
beam and a Televes 45 on it, so all he had to do was strap it.

25w into a vertical, but the isolation is sufficient between antennas to
prevent any breakthrough.
