Recomendations for a 42" Plasma Wall Bracket
I have Panasonic TH-42PD50U since March. I want to mount it on the wall,
but the mounts I see at Costco and Sam's Club are a bit generic and don't seem to fit my set. I did a quick search for the Panasonic brand brackets, and the prices are a bit outrageous or out of stock. I did find a used TY-WK42PR2U for $100, but it does not come with instructions, but it does have the bungs for the correct mounting holes on the back of the set. I just don't know what type of lag bolts I need to mount it to a wall. I'd like to know what other mounts are available for my set and where to buy them. Thanks in Advance! JW |

If in doubt mounting these items it is highly recommended that you have it
done professionally. That way the insurance assestor won't laugh when you claim damages from it falling and ripping the drywall off the wall. IMHO:Asking what type of mounting hardware, fixture mounting, etc is indicative of your need of professional- onsite help, not via the internet. I bought both my mounts from Cheif. I used the simple no tilt bracket. I did
both myself and I would say, Its allot of work, but its worth it. Also got my cables from Monoprice.com. Hope this helps. Thanks, Mike!!! I like the products and the install manuals were very
helpful. Though they don't list the prices unless you call them or be come a dealer. I'll probably go with the floor demo TY-WK42PR2U for $100, it seems the lag bolts are not included with most mounts anyways, but the bungs are included to mount the set to the bracket, which is more important.
