Analogue switchoff

As I understand it the timetable relates to the last day of analogue
transmissions. I understand that the switch off will start with one
channel (BBC2?) being replaced by a digital multiplex then the
remaining analogue channels being switched off later. Does anyone
know how much in advance the first stage will be?

I see that Scottish Television (STV) is scheduled for the second half
of 2010 so I am wondering when the first multiplex will become
available from relay transmitters.

About one month AIUI.

The day BBC 2 analogue disappears. All of a 'parent's' relay stations
will be switched the same night as the parent.
