Winter Hill ITV1 - no sound
 

Rebooted my Thomson DHD 4000 a couple of times this morning, but I
can't get any sound on ITV1 from Winter Hill - all other channels seem
to be fine. Is there a problem that anyone else is experiencing?

Yep, I was just going to post the same comment. There's no sound on either
of my digiboxes so it must be the transmitter. It's annoying as Saturday
morning is just about the only time I actually watch (and listen to!) ITV1.

Yep, I was just going to post the same comment. There's no sound on
either of my digiboxes so it must be the transmitter. It's annoying as
Saturday morning is just about the only time I actually watch (and
listen to!) ITV1.

I had the same problem all morning... strangely it only affects my
Freeview box upstairs (Durabrand from ASDA). The IDTV (Samsung) downstairs
had sound just fine on ITV1.

NOTE: It's just come back.

get back without a reboot.

It disappeared yesterday evening for me. Back now.

I did two rescans. ITV 1 didn't appear on the first. I only got 60
channels. On another rescan I'm up to my usual 75.

I powered off my box and did a first-time installation and still didn't
get any sound back. It just came back by itself a bit later.

It disappeared Friday about 4:45 p.m. on my Toppy. OK on an old Pace
Ondodgy box. Tried rescanning Toppy to no avail. Tried recording
and play back from Toppy - no sound on playback. *All* other
channels OK.

Can't say I was bothered, it's only ITV ! So I ignored it. I checked
later in evening and sound was back.
