Why you pay for Sky ?
Hello all! I do not understand. People pay a lot of money for channels showing junk and lots and lots of commercial. For example family pack as I remember costs some UKP 20 or so /month. What you get for this? Mostly a bulk of repeated programs, like Star Trek TNG which has been repeated for 10 years now. And ebvery 8 minutes you get a lots of **** commercial trash. Or you can watch "UK TVF Food+1", yes you pay for that junk as well. Even game channels like Sky Vegas... you pay twice if you play on it. Or UK TV Garden? well... better pay 20 UKP than go to see your garden? I see no value paying such amount for that ****. News channels? Incredible! You have to pay to watch CNBC and Bloomberg. This can happen only in the UK.... PayTV News channels.... Can't beleive it.. The only channels that can be considered valuable are Discovery and similar channels (National geogprahpic). Here in Hungary we get those channels in english or in native language together with 20-30 more Hungarian channels for 2-3 UKP/month. You pay 10 times and you getb UK TV Food. Congrat! Bubo |

I think the majority of Sky's subscribers are forced to pay for the ****e to access the sport or movies that they really want. I dont know how many people pay for just the lower packages, but I bet it's less than 255 of their subscribers |
