Sky finds new way to advertise during programmes
I have sent this to Sky's "Viewer Relations" department this evening....
Dear Sky, We get the bumpers during the ads for Ricky Gervais' appearance on the The Simpsons ad-nauseum. Every break it seems to be on... Now we get a message ON SCREEN underneath the Sky One "DOG" during all of primetime saying the same thing???? How many times do we need to be told??? Yes! We know! Ricky on Sunday on The Simpsons - WE GET IT!!!!! Turn the bloody thing off! Thanks for listening, Simon Ough A rather annoyed Sky One viewer. I sugest you do the same (just replace my name with yours *lol*) |

The way Sky is heading we will be lucky to see any of the programs hidden beneath a barrage of on-screen advertising. Became so incensed that I phoned to cancel my subscription, I'll rather wait and buy the dvds. Got through to the accounts department and they offered to reduce the monthly subscription for three months but if thing do not improve I will be cancellng it. JB |
