I can't cancel immediately - the whole family is eager to see Ricky
Gervais on the Simpsons!

Ricky Gervais, who is this burk anyways!

Zetec

The guy from The Office. I didn't find the program funny, though
2DTV's ripoff of that dance he did with the little asian lads was
funny.

I have sent this to Sky's "Viewer Relations" department this evening....

Dear Sky,

We get the bumpers during the ads for Ricky Gervais' appearance on the The
Simpsons ad-nauseum.

Every break it seems to be on...

Now we get a message ON SCREEN underneath the Sky One "DOG" during all of
primetime saying the same thing????

How many times do we need to be told???

Yes! We know! Ricky on Sunday on The Simpsons - WE GET IT!!!!!

Turn the bloody thing off!

Thanks for listening,

Simon Ough

A rather annoyed Sky One viewer.

I wonder if that will make the Sky mag, next month :-)

This times star letter was a classic, someone had written in saying how
much their family loved the mag, they'd even enclosed a picture with
colour-coded book-marks for all the stuff they wanted to watch, and
highlighted various entries, LOL.

Yeah, I love the ones that say "Oh I wish someone would put annoying
reminders at the top of the screen for programs which aren't on til
next week!" and the reply goes "As luck would have it this is exactly
what we have started doing!"

I think it was when they started putting those settings for reminders
on previews, a 'letter' requesting the same exactly as they appeared.

No, phoning earns them money as they charge you 8p a minute to talk to

Which is remarkable since Sky's call centres are in Scotland.

Re-routed to India as you can tell (especilly if you mention snow on your
satellite dish!)

Great to have a conversatin on hearing some voddo doll answer and say
"Hello, I'm ringing over the *Get Sky for free on your PC* offer on Ebay"
Always seems to be a long pause so after some indian mumbo jumbo meaning
"Eh?" , "Alright then, how about this crack for the Sky viewing card...Where
can I get it from?"

Dear Kathy and Claire, please make Sky put reminders on screen telling
me when I should eat, otherwise I might starve to death.

:O))

Strange then that there should be so many Indians working there.
