Any use for the USB port on Sky+?
"SteveL" wrote in message ... Hey that could be good if true. The 160 GB harddrives on the HD box might sound a lot but high def recording takes up more room. Hence the reported 250GB HDD in the HD box (and MP4 algorithms) Hmm, I was told 160 when I ordered it. I wasn't aware of the MP4 either. I understood it to be 300gb 160gb available to you 140gb reserved for sky It could be 250gb though. But same effect 160gb for you 90gb for sky Loz |

And of course such mags are always 100% accurate. The current Sky+ box also has USB ports. They were also allegedly going to allow expansion. Did they ever? Loz |

"Mike Henry" wrote in message ... HDD expansion is more likely through the SATA port - More likely than USB as HDD is the only use of such a port, so why put one on if you don't intend to use? For a similar reason to why every Sky digibox since 1998 has had an expansion slot which at the back has never been used, and a Money-card slot which still hasn't been used... As I pointed out in another post in this thread Loz |
