Starting up with Sky again
My mate wants to get sky + but also wants to take advantage of the new
customers offer of 3 months half price. He currently has Sky at his house, but if he applies for Sky+ in his missus' name that should allow them the new joiner deal, is that right? |

Although I suspect that your mate could join again as Mr M. Mouse and Sky wouldn't bat an eyelid so long as they got their money! P_S |

When he cancels the current contract have him tell them he is moving house. This will go into the file and then if the second contract does ever get flagged for review they will assume his wife has thrown him out. |

I would think they will have the address and the connected telephone number previously used on record. |

He should just be honest, phone and say he'd like to come back and
could he have the special offer. If they say no, he can say, "Oh; I'll get cable then" or something; see how fast the customer loyalty team take to throw themselves in front of his wallet. Worked for a mate of mine when he moved house; they said that he couldn't qualify for free dish fitting because he was an existing customer - one snotty letter to the head of customer service later, new free box and installation and three months of free sports and films. At the end of the day, they want your monthly subscriptions. Mik |
