Problems with projector resolution...
Hi,
I have an Optoma H30 with the native resolution 800*600. It is able to handle 480p, 720p and 1080i. I have connected to the projector via VGA-cable (the best solution on this model) to my computer with a Nvidia 6600GT. Now, my problem is I cant run 1080i. When I do, I get the message: "1920*1080" @ XX Hz Out of range" and no picture showing. All the other resolutions works fine. How do I get it to show 1080i-movies? Is this a setting for the computer? I have tried to manually set the resolution to 800*600 and so on, but nothing helps. Please help me, all tips are appreciated! Regards Seb. -- ---------------------------------------------- Posted with NewsLeecher v3.0 Final * Binary Usenet Leeching Made Easy * http://www.newsleecher.com/?usenet ---------------------------------------------- |

The "vga" input does not support 1080i, IIRC. Leonard |

Then what input supports it?
I was told that of the inputs that this model has VGA should be give me the best picture quality. These are the available connections, taken from the users manual. What should I use to get 1080i if not the VGA??? The VGA input may support higher resolutions but will not support 1080i, which is interlaced. The higher resolutions available on the VGA input will only give you a better pix if you can get it to display. LOL. Leonard |
