N'ah we're talking Sky.

720 upscaled more likely, with a big DOG, RED DOT, lots of adverts, lots of
self-promotion, etc, etc.

"Brendan you require a £50 a month subscription plus £300 box."

Heh!, Much like the normal Sky broadcast when it's p*ssing down or snowing,
so no change there then ;-)

I had that trouble but it turned out my dish needed realigning or at
least that's what the bloke who climbed on the roof (where I would
never go) told me.

It has happened since though, although only once or twice but it did go
off air last week for about four hours. Is this to be expected with
dishes or should I get that bloke back on the roof?

Now that raises an interesting issue. It was said that VHS beat the
technically better Betamax due to the release of "adult" movies on the
format and that the Internet has become as powerful as it is due to it
becoming a huge repository of porn.

Assuming the market for the latest in technology is still the same,
how soon will it be before you will have a HD Adult Channel and
suchlike?

It seems that the Porn industry in the USA has thrown its weight behind Blu
Ray so this could be the death knell for HD drives....
