I was expecting the new epg to have radio stations starting 0 eg radio
one would be 0101, but although my box has had an update the radio stations are still channels 850 upwards and now pressing 0 doenst make the radio symbol appear. Has it gone wrong? |

Thanks Ian When my sky plus box comes in a couple of weeks how does it get the latest epg software? I presume it's been stuck in a warehouse for a month or two. Does sky broadcast OTA updates all the time? |

you'd have thought that in such a major overhaul they'd get UKG2+ next to UKTV G2 and more 4 + next to more4. Weird |

Moving away slightly does this mean that from next week my Tivo will be
unable to recognse the radio stations (now they are 4 digits) and how will this affect the TV channels (mainly 401 - Sky Sports) and the usual BBC ones too? Is Tivo going to change its EPG too then in the light of this? The reason for asking is that the radio listings on Tivo still show radio programmes as they were over a year ago and have not noticed the changes that some stations have made with diff presenters/times etc! |

Has it gone wrong? the "0" now totally replaces the "speaker" symbol - due to complaints. The new remotes were to have a special radio button but consumers in the focus groups were too thick to get it. |

Retards. How does one get in a Sky focus group anyway? |

Thread on this is on tivocommunity.com in the UK section. Short answer: no out of the box solution as Tivo can't send codes beginning with a 0. Longer answer: hacks probably made available. -- New anti-spam address cmylod at despammed dot com |

Funny how those people were listened to, but everyone who has been asking for a "go back to previous channel" button for the last seven years (the single most requested feature) has been ignored.

It is all in the questions. I imagine it was more "do you like this or this" rather than "what would you like?" That and the fact that although they try for a broad spectrum in focus groups - inevitably they mostly attract housewives and dole scum willing to sit around for 3 hours and earn £50. |

Weird I think EPG position is important to the channels. Living TV would probably be upset about a channel being inserted into the EPG above theirs. Of course G2 could move further down the list, but they probably wanted to retain their 111 EPG number. -- Martin Jay |

That's even assuming that there ever really were any complaints or that the feature was changed because of them. Which seems unlikely. It seems like a senible thing to change, though - it would probably have confused people who were trying to access channel '0147' but all they could get was [speaker] 147 or [speaker] 014. |

Red and Blue are generally taken, but why not let the other two be configurable. I'd appreciate a button that let me flip between my two most recent channels. |
