Retards. How does one get in a Sky focus group anyway?

By posting in this group. Har! (runs away quickly)

Funny how those people were listened to, but everyone who has been asking for a "go back to previous channel" button for the last seven years (the single most requested feature) has been ignored.

Even my £50 LG bedroom tv does that

I was expecting the new epg to have radio stations starting 0 eg radio
one would be 0101, but although my box has had an update the radio
stations are still channels 850 upwards and now pressing 0 doenst make
the radio symbol appear. Has it gone wrong?

It is all in the questions. I imagine it was more "do you like this or
this" rather than "what would you like?" That and the fact that although
they try for a broad spectrum in focus groups - inevitably they mostly
attract housewives and dole scum willing to sit around for 3 hours and earn
£50.

you'd have thought that in such a major overhaul they'd get UKG2+ next
to UKTV G2 and more 4 + next to more4. Weird

I think EPG position is important to the channels. Living TV would
probably be upset about a channel being inserted into the EPG above
theirs. Of course G2 could move further down the list, but they
probably wanted to retain their 111 EPG number.

I suspect that Sky put scouts in public places to accost those who
apparently have trouble walking and talking at the same time. They are
offered the position.

That's even assuming that there ever really were any complaints or
that the feature was changed because of them. Which seems unlikely.

It seems like a senible thing to change, though - it would probably
have confused people who were trying to access channel '0147' but all
they could get was [speaker] 147 or [speaker] 014.

Turn up when they advertise and collect £50.

Do you have to pass GO as well?

What possible complaints were there about a speaker symbol? Introducing the
"0" seems to SNAFU everything that's worked fine for the last 4.5 years.

What I want to know is why they don't use some of the coloured buttons
for stuff. Red and Blue are generally taken, but why not let the other
two be configurable.

I'd appreciate a button that let me flip between my two most recent
channels.

Green is now for set reminder, so perhaps they're working on 'yellow'
for flip.

I think they've already got yellow for the "this is a pointless button"
feature.
