Correct, and all it needs now is for four and five to to become unencrypted,
and BBC to introduce their Freesat service, complete with HDTV content later
on this year, and we should be home and dry... or am I becoming a tad
over-optimistic?

Radio Five Live, Radio Four and the BBC World Service do that, in a
non tabloid populist crap format. I (like many) want fact, not some
moron from No. 23 Any Street, Any Town spouting on about his or her
ignorant opinions.

You've not heard daytime Radio Five Live recently, then?

You really have lost touch!

Kelvin Mc moved on ages ago. He has recently lost £1.5m in a publishing

None of them does it the way I (and presumably many sports fans) want
it, which is wall-to-wall sport (with maybe more general hourly news
bulletins). Talk Sport is a misnomer because, as far as I have been
able to tell, most of its output is unconnected with Sport. If it lived
up to its name - even if the editorial standards weren't up to the
BBC's - I would give it a button.
