You should look in "uk.tech.digital.tv" he is really going for it in there.
lol

He just will not admit he is wrong! lol

Have you phoned Sky and asked them if you get the same channels on your
card when you cancel as you do with a Freesat card?

Is this is the same Sky CS dept that told another poster in uk.tech.sky.tv
that there was, "a fault in one of the transponders in his LNB"

Yeeeeesssss

Stick your old viewing card back in your digibox for 24-48 hrs and watch the
FTV channels magically reappear

No. So shut your ****ing hole.

He is rude because he knows, deep down, that he is wrong, but he has taken
his argument too far now to back down. His pride is getting in the way of
common sense therefore the only way he feels he can handle this is to be a
vile, disgusting person who needs to swear and be abusive to people.

In other words. A sad muppet.

Let's hope his kids don't hang around in here and see what he is really
like.

In your other post it was 24 hours. It didn't work after 24 hours -
that's why I phoned them.

So now it's up to 48 hours? What next? A week?

Have you phoned Sky and asked them? Do you want me to phone them, ask
them, record it and make you look a ****?

In *what* other post of mine did I say it was 24 hours ? Please indicate,
posting date, and time please ?

It didn't work after 24 hours -

I'm losing track of all this. AIUI you phoned them to cancel your
subscription, they told you that was fine but in order to keep the FTV
channels you would need to buy from them a Freesat card, for 20 quid (as many
have pointed out this is incorrect, the sales droid was not telling the truth
(probably unwittingly)).

So you got yourself a Freesat card, and activated it, right ?

What did you do with your old card ?

If it's not an ice scraper by now, re-insert it in your box for 24 to 48 hours
you'll find the FTV channels will reappear. The reason they're not there now
is because it's lost track of the encryption key update, this happens to any
card left out of a box and/or unpowered for more than two or three weeks.

So now it's up to 48 hours? What next? A week?

See above. Anyway well done for composing a post without any profanities.
