PC to LCD Max Resolution? ATI Card Doesn't Do The Trick?

At what refresh rate?

Most PC cards will default to 60Hz.

1080p TV is 24 or 30Hz, and I suspect many "1080p"
TVs won't accept a 60Hz 1920x1080 signal.

Can you crank the ATI down to 30?
Or set it to 1080i (which does permit 60Hz).

The ATI does support 1920x1080/60i, but it's likely that the LCD TV does
not on the PC input. The OP might have to use the component video input.
