Internally they are completely identical. They both have the farouda chip
but only the 507 advertises that fact. That may account for the slightly
higher price of the 507.

Brian - while your statement is true about the HLN507, Barry asked about the
HLM507 which is the older model. With the exception of the 61", HLM sets
did not have DNIe or the superior Faroudja processing included in the newer
HLN sets -- which is part of the reason Samsung offered a limited-time
upgrade program (now expired) where for a flat $200 they'd come out and
upgrade your older HLM set with all-new HLN internals. Barry, if you're
truly looking at an HLM set and not an HLN, they better offer you a really
great price on it!
