multiroom modem problem
Hi everybody,
a few months ago I upgraded to sky+ and moved my old digibox into another room. The modem in my old digibox always was a bit tempremental and quite often didn;t manage it's callbacks properly. Sometimes you'd hear it tingleing the phones all day as it tried to phone Sky. This never bothered me until i got Sky+ and a few months later got a letter telling me that both of my boxes were not connected to the same line. I phoned sky and they asked me to do a manual call back from the Installer's menu. This worked....but I don't want to bother doing this every month or so. Since it's my old digibox it's over 12 months old and I guess it's not covered by any kind of warranty by Sky? What are my options...keep waiting for these letters from Sky and protesting them or could Sky be talked into swapping my old digibox? Thanks everybody :o) Ben |

Sky will give you a new box for the standard £65 call-out charge. With a little bit of discussion you should be able to reduce this significantly. -- Digibox problem? : A reboot solves 90% of these.
