Sky+ problems

Hi,
Having problems with my Pace Sky+ box(model No.3.057) Op Sys Version
1.31AOE. EPG Ver.1.30.q

1. Some recordings failing (tech. fault).
2.Some recordings not even recording.
3.Couple of times all recordings lost.
4.Sometimes remote/and box buttons fail to work (maybe only while
recording).Have to reset.
5. Pause / rewind etc wont work.(Sky+ fault error?)
All goes fine for a while again after resetting but some or all the above
return and seem to be getting more frequent.

Now i'm assuming it can't be software related as it would be affecting a lot
of people, so I suppose I'm left with either the hard drive or power supply
going.
It's out of warranty so do you think fitting a new hard drive would help?

Yeah , tried a complete reset a couple of times after losing my recordings
anyway, but symptoms gradually return. Just wonder if the hard drive is
maybe damaged at one part and when the recordings get there the problems
start.

Sounds likely, you might as well put a bigger disk in then while you are at
it.
