Freeview channel 8
 

Just had to retune my STB and noticed that channel 8 just comes up with
the number 8 and no picture. Before I retuned the box, I thought there
was something on channel 8. I might just be losing my marbles, though.
Can anyone shed any light please?

If I leave for a very short while it comes up with a message about the
station that was on No. 9

Mike,

Channel 8 relates to Channel 4 (Wales) / Tele G (Scotland).. In Scotland
when I select Channel 008 the screen indicates Daily Gaelic Programmes
available from 1800 - 1900 hrs.

No need therefore, to search around under the desk for your marbles. They
remain where they should be!

Not as lucky as the Chinese suggest - the Welsh got there first (S4C)...

Almost, 'Freeview Ch 8' in Wales is occupied by Channel 4 TV, 'Freeview Ch 4'
in Wales is where you find S4C.
