sky + multiroom

we are thinking of getting sky + downstairs and moving the digibox upstairs.
There are no telephone sockets in the proposed sky + room and the room we
want the digibox in, has a phone extension from the next room along
connected to an ADSL broadband modem (and PC).
Will this set up prevent us from getting sky multiroom?

thanks for any advice
H

Multiroom requires both boxes to be connected to the same phone line
at least once or twice a month.

Sky will not install multiroom without the phone connection.

You could use a wireless phone sender.

Well thats rubbish for a start - I had no phone connection to the second
box - the installation guy fitted a phone extension as part of the install -
no charge...

And exactly where in my statement did I suggest that Sky wouldn't
install the phone connection themselves under certain circumstances?
