As it stands, a Sky Sports subscription plus £50 for PremPlus gives me all Prem matches. If Sky don't have all the games, let's say Sentana or someone gets some of them. I will then need to subscribe to them as well. Will BBC or ITV get them and show them on FTV? They probably won't be able to compete with subscription channels. Will Sky reduce their subscriptions? Highly unlikely! I think this is the situation in Italy and it certainly doesn't benefit the fans. Well intended legislation against monopolies that will in practice cost the consumer more. Back off Brussells etc........ |
